I did it!
Its been a week now. I’ve been resting my legs. I’m sure that this is the feeling when you’ve run a marathon in a Pink Panther costume but its one of the most rewarding feelings. Its good that it should feel that way because it bloody hurts while you are doing it! On the 49th [...]
Stats, stats and more stats
I’ve found myself picking through stats more than I’m doing actually riding. It is fun though and also a little bit frightening when you map the runs I’m going to be doing. Its not exactly flat This is another view of yesterdays training route
What a difference!
I popped into Decathlon today to pick up some cycling shorts and asked on the off chance if the new bike had arrived. I say off chance.. I’d already got the bike rack on the car in anticipation. Id had arrived, that very morning. I’ve just got back from a ride to get used to [...]
Return of the VPN
My VPN problem has been resolved. I came home yesterday to find my network dead and my DHCP pool missing. Amid a host of flashing lights and APIPA addresses I unravelled the problem and got everything back up and running. O2 had remotely applied firmware 7.4.20.5 to my router but still I had no VPN. Virgilio Anderson Trends on Twitter.. Finally
Finally #virgilioanderson trends on twitter and I feel partly responsible which is very cool. For a number of weeks Richard Herring has been trying to get his nemesis Virgilio Anderson to trend but what with people dying and the Iranians kicking off there was too much chaff to cut through and tweets had become too [...]
Who is Virgilio Anderson?
I am a sympathiser to Richard Herrings cause. I too have been subject to identity theft as has been detailed on this blog so I was more than happy to join in the man hunt to find the elusive Virgilio Anderson with the purchase of a t-shirt. I thought I may as well go the [...]
Twitters Iranian Hysteria and ‘that’ maintenance
Its seems that the mass hysteria last night forced Twitters host to bow down under pressure and postpone their scheduled maintenance. “A critical network upgrade must be performed to ensure continued operation of Twitter. In coordination with Twitter, our network host had planned this upgrade for tonight. However, our network partners at NTT America recognize [...]
