Seasonal adjustments

I was out earlier than usual today. It was cool, dry and fresh, and for the first time this year my brain clicked into autumn. Just in time for October. Which is good.

I hate it when we hit Halloween and I’ve still got a seasonal hangover from Summer. All it means is that Decembers upon me before I know it and next its January and I’m left feeling I’ve missed the whole thing.

So with optimism I look forward to Halloween, Bonfire Night, and a leisurely run upto Christmas.

Muhh. We’re kinda doing the same. We missed last christmas, what with it being summer and all, so we’re determined to do it twice this year. Went outside this morning and squealed with glee at crunchy grass, clear blue sky, and the type of cold air that catches in your throat. Lovely!
