Saddle Sore
I was going to blog about my bike the other day as I’d blew off the dust and put some air in the tyres but I wanted a picture and didn’t have a photo. I still don’t have a photo but I just wanted to have a moan.
It’s a Diamondback Topanga that I bought circa 1990 and it’s still going strong after all these years. You could say that’s down to lack of use but I can tell you that its done a gazillion™ miles (nearly). However the miles covered in the last five years are in single figures. With the stables just 2.5 miles away I’d been toying with the idea that it would be a good idea to cycle the journey rather than keep feeding a 3.2 litre V6 engine with petrol for such a short trip, once or twice daily. The down side is my backside kills. It by no means boney and has a fair bit of meat on it but “ouch!”. No wonder I saw the Tour de France riders standing a lot
