Not wanting to be outdone with all the flooding in the south I let the water out of the kids pool. It was looking a bit green anyway. Result… our very own flood. Yay!, now Sky News can come round and film an sensationalist and exaggerated “end of the world™” report.

Did sky news turn up in the end? Perhaps you should have danced on top of a car holding up a “Burn America!” placard or something.
No they didn’t turn up as, unfortunately, I don’t have “Killer Bacteria!!!” or “Giant Rats!!!” in my garden. (or whatever tomorrows sensational “Breaking News” will be.
