The David Attenborough post
[hushed voice]
The Leopard Gecko is one of the most common reptiles, they are hardy, relatively docile and don’t grow too large. Leopard Geckos are found in the wild across a large area of Asia and the Middle East, stretching from north-western India into eastern Iraq.
Leopard Geckos are one of the largest of gecko species and may reach up to 10 inches 30cm) in length including the tail. Leopard geckos are relatively long lived and may reach an age of up to twenty years, females don’t tend to live as long as the males because of the demands of breeding and egg production.
But while the Leopard Gecko is a fascinating subject, our attentions turn to another subject, the Emily or to give it its Latin name Smallus Weirdis Girlius. While most similar species bond with kittens and my little pony, our subject has an ongoing fascination with anything reptilian.
We will continue our study of this strangest of creatures.
