Time flys by
Another solitary post, another excuse.
If i were to think really hard, and if I had the impetus to do so, I could probably come up with any number of reasons why I haven’t made any posts. Perhaps its me being lazy, perhaps its because i just forgot, it may be that nothing has really happened to write about.
I would have to say that the real reason is that those who frequent my regular haunts know what I’ve been up to from various emails, forum posts, usenet rants and the occasional subject specific blog via iWeb [1]. To write war and peace here would only feel like
duplication, yet despite this I feel compelled to give a brief update.
The World Cup happened – I spent most of it cooking a new gas BBQ I bought and trying to fill a Panini World Cup album
Kwik Fit arsed up my tracking and it cost me £199 for Audi to put it right
It got hot and I went somewhere even hotter for the duration
My Xbox360 unexpectedly died and was resurrected by Microsoft (actually they gave me a new one)
And that pretty much brings us up to date.
There was one more thing which promises to be an interesting future entry. I have booked to stay in Edinburgh for the weekend next month where I will be attending the Grand Choobs Farewell Bash ™.
[1] I am currently working on moving old stuff off the .Mac homepage and into iWeb. While i am adding new stuff into iWeb including adhoc blogs, there just isn’t enough functionality in the blogging to allow me to move everything over. They really have to make it easier to add other content and drill down on categories. While its all very pretty and very easy to use it really falls short in some places.
