October 4
I’m a big fan of Jack Skelly and his mates so
getting this was a must.

I’ve only had a quick go but from what I’ve seen
I’m loving it. All the signs are there for a good game, Capcom produced with an
endorsement from Tim Burton himself who I recall seeing on a TV show taking a
look at the development of the
project.

It does throw you in a bit quick.. I
hadn’t got the grip of the controls when suddenly there’s Oogie Boogie stoop in
front of me! I fell flat on my arse the first time but once I realised what was
going on I started to enjoy myself. I got about whipping his arse and when my
music meter was full I got some ace musical game play. I don’t usually like the
“hit the buttons in the sequence” game play but given the subject matter and the
ace music it was really enjoyable (plus I beat Oogie.. for
now).

I’m going to enjoy this one in
the lead up to Halloween.
