Sometimes you can’t do right for doing wrong
or so it seems.
I’ve always been one to take a lead and grab the
bull by the horns. It just seems the natural thing to do so when the opportunity
arose recently to help out with a particular project I jumped at the chance.

Without getting
into details as they are not required the project required an amount of
commitment from a number of volunteers but such is the nature of the selection
pool it was not feasible for everyone to give up their time at the same time. So
to cut a long story short I tried to offer a compromise only to get flamed by
the founder that I was trying to take over and change
things!
I only made a suggestion, which
incidentally everyone agreed with only making matters worse. I got labelled a
troublemaker leaving me in an untenable position. i left the
group.
Ultimately the project is in
bits due to the inflexibility of a
minority.
So much for
helping.
