I nearly finished the lingering task today. It
was within my grasp. I just needed to take one last photo with my trusty camera
that has never failed my through work, holidays and weekend BBQ’s. However the
latter event had a nasty little surprise waiting for me…

I discovered today that if
you make ‘cheap’ Margaritas with Lime cordial, once the tequila has started to
take effect you run the risk of aforementioned cordial being splashed on the
lens mechanism. I went to take the crucial photo and the lens is stuck in and
shut with a sticky lime residue.
And so
there we have it dead camera and one unfinished task.
